Gigwork Tracker - Track earnings, expenses, mileage & taxes — free, no signup

by•
GigWork Tracker is a free, privacy-first earnings tracker for Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash drivers. It tracks earnings, expenses, mileage, and hours. There is no signup, no account, and your data never leaves your phone. What stands out? It has a Day/Hour heat map showing your real $/hr by day and time, built-in Prop 22 tracking for CA drivers, and voice input for logging mileage and expenses hands-free. Pro ($25 one-time, no subscription) adds tax estimates using the IRS mileage deduction.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Erwin — I drive Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash, and I built GigWork Tracker because I wanted to know if I was truly making money after expenses. I wanted something tangible, something I could see. Like me, a lot of gig drivers take their numbers at the end of the day and do the math in their heads, where it's way too easy to make a mistake. With the app, users can see the math for hours worked today, this week, this month, and this year. After that, it seemed natural to use the same data to figure out gas cost and estimated taxes. Taking it further, I thought I could use the previously entered data to make predictions on how to make more money in the future. As things kept evolving, I added the Pro version so the app could display reminders to back up your data or pay estimated taxes. Then, to make entering mileage easier, I added a voice function. In this version, I also added a heat map to provide insights on the best hours of the day to work. I added additional summaries from the logged data too, like a Schedule C helper and an IRS mileage log. Lastly, I added a Pay Estimated Taxes button that goes directly to the IRS site for convenience. My purpose is to make gig drivers' lives easier. Honestly, I'm proud of how simple, clean, organized, color-coded, and easy to use the app is, without much of a learning curve. The Pro version is only a one-time fee of $25 (no subscription). I'm one driver who built this app with Claude's help, so I'd genuinely love your feedback: what's missing, what's confusing, what you'd want to see next. I'll be in the comments all day. Thanks for checking it out! 🚗
