What's one launch day advice you wish someone told you beforehand?

Getting close to launching mine and honestly more nervous about launching than the product. What's something you'd tell a first timer to avoid? And on the flip side, what's something that worked way better than you expected going in?

Don't get too caught up in the ranking. Easy thing to obsess over.
Keep the page simple. if I have to figure out what the product does, I'm already gone.
Honestly, don't change everything because of one comment.
I'd be curious which metric mattered most afterward.
We're heads down prepping for a launch too, so this one's timely. The thing I keep coming back to is that the ranking obsesses people for one day and mostly reflects timezone and luck rather than product quality.
Unfortunately, I can't say anything about that yet since I'm launching my site on the 8th and am in exactly the same situation as you. However, there is one modification I made after reading your thread: I stopped adding any new features and focused on writing responses to all the comments I would get. I'd prefer to be quick and responsive rather than add some feature people don't need.
