We recently updated one of our product pages by replacing generic product copy with detailed, benefit-focused descriptions, adding multiple lifestyle images, and moving key information higher on the page.
The interesting part wasn't just the visual improvement; it was how much more time visitors spent reading before deciding whether to buy.
It made us realise that shoppers often need confidence more than persuasion.
I'm curious whether others have seen something similar.

I agree. I think it's easy to feel as though marketing is X input gives Y output, but you always have to remember you're dealing with real humans. It's best to put yourself in the consumer's shoes and try to understand if it were you, would YOU buy.
