Does anyone else read a tagline and still have zero clue what the tool actually does?
Maybe it's just me, but this happens constantly. I'll open a launch page, read a tagline like "your daily workflow, reimagined" or "the intelligent layer for modern teams," and realized I still have no idea what the software actually is.
I end up having to scroll way down just to find a basic sentence explaining it in plain English.
It is not even the buzzwords that get annoying, it is how hard some products work to avoid saying what they do. If a page just opened with "this is an automated scheduling app," I would immediately know if it matters to me or not.
Standing out is tough, but I catch myself bouncing off pages entirely just because I cannot parse the concept in ten seconds.
Does this happen to you too, or do you ignore the copy and just figure it out from the screenshots?
