What’s the first thing you want to know after photographing a meal?

by

I'm building Foodius, an iOS app that analyzes a meal from a single photo.

Most nutrition apps lead with calories and macros. But during testing, people often cared more about what a meal might be hiding — too much sugar, allergens, or ingredients that don’t match their goals.

If you could get only one answer after taking a photo of your meal, what would matter most?

• Calories and macros

• An overall health score

• Hidden sugar and other risks

• Allergens

• Something else?

I’d love to understand where current nutrition apps still leave you guessing.
