Fluid - productivity, simplified.

by•
Fluid is the app you open in the morning: tasks, notes and calendar in one calm place on Mac, iPad and iPhone. Then it changes how you use the Mac. Hold ⌥, tap Return twice, and a task palette floats over any app. Focus on one thing until it's done. Replace the Dock, window switcher and clipboard only if you want to. Free. No subscriptions, no ads, encrypted data.

It is live.

If you use a Mac, your day is in three places. Tasks in one app. Notes in another. Calendar in a third. You check all three to find out what is next, and one of them is always out of date.

The ways out have a price. A workspace app that holds everything and takes a weekend to set up. A subscription for each small tool. Or the stock apps, three windows open, and the checking never stops.

Then there is the Mac itself. A Dock replacement, a window switcher, a clipboard manager, a launcher. Four more apps, four more menu bar icons, four more things to update.

Fluid is built the other way round.

Four pages. Today, Tasks, Jot, Calendar. Today says what is on now and what is next, refreshed every 30 seconds. Apple Reminders and Calendar sync both ways, so nothing you already use has to change.

Capture never brings Fluid forward. Hold ⌥, tap Return twice, and a task palette floats over whatever you are in. ⌥ and Space twice for a note. Focus on one task and the timer follows you to the focus pill on the Mac, or the Dynamic Island on iPhone.

The Mac features are five things you would otherwise install five apps for. The Dock, the window switcher, the clipboard, a launcher, and brightness and volume keys for external monitors. Each is opt-in and independent of the others. Turn on one, or none.
