Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm the creator of FitmAI. Like many people who train regularly, I got tired of the daily friction of managing two separate apps and subscriptions: using a gym logger (like Strong or Hevy) to record sets and reps, and then opening a calorie tracker (like MyFitnessPal) to log daily nutrition. Most fitness apps either have a clunky gym notepad bolted onto a massive food database, or a great lifting tracker with zero nutrition support.
I built FitmAI to bring both workflows under one roof without intrusive ads or tracking bloat:
🏋️ Local-First Strength Logging: Set history, rest timers, and Olympic barbell plate math run offline directly on device. It features Lock Screen Live Activities with Dynamic Island countdowns and standalone Apple Watch logging so you never have to unlock your phone between heavy sets.
🥗 Multimodal AI Nutrition: Instead of searching through crowded crowdsourced databases, just snap a photo of your meal or type naturally (e.g., "2 boiled eggs on sourdough toast with avocado"). Multimodal AI estimates macros and calories in seconds.
📈 Automated Progressive Overload: Rather than acting as a static digital notepad where you manually calculate your next weight jumps, FitmAI evaluates your previous working sets and suggests your next target weights and reps right on the active set view.
The app is live today on both iOS and Android! I would love your feedback on the onboarding experience, AI vision accuracy on varied meals, and the workout logging UX. Happy to answer any questions!
