Filo Mail is finally cross-platform (and way smarter than our first PH post)

by

With Android coming next, Filo will work across iOS, macOS, Windows, and Android, with the same workflow and the same “brain” everywhere you open your inbox.

Our north star is still the same: Never miss what matters.

Not by throwing more notifications at you, but by making sure the important things naturally rise to the top, while the noise stays out of your way.

A couple highlights we’re genuinely proud of:

  • Filo was selected to be featured on the App Store, which felt like a huge vote of confidence for a small team.

  • We’re sitting at 4.8/5 on the App Store, and a lot of that credit goes to users who took time to leave thoughtful feedback (and push us on what to fix next).

The biggest change since the early days is how much stronger the AI layer has become, especially our Task Agent.

As AI models have gotten better, we’ve been able to make the Agent feel more “do things for me” and less “chat with me.”

Right now, with natural language input, the Task Agent can help with things like:

  • Create to-dos from messy email threads (and keep them clean + trackable)

  • Bulk cleanups like “delete certain emails from last week”

  • Draft replies like “write to a client with a request” in your tone

  • Analyze attachments and pull out key points so you don’t have to open five PDFs just to find one detail

At the same time, we’re trying hard to keep Filo approachable:

  • All core functions stay free

  • Plus is only there to unlock higher AI limits for power users who want to run the Agent more often / more heavily

Before we ship Android publicly, I’d love to learn from the PH crowd:

If you could wave a magic wand and make your email client do ONE thing perfectly, what would it be?

We’ll be in the comments and we’re happy to go deep on how things work.
