Hi everyone. I built Family Ping after the same evening too many of us know: you call your mother, it rings out, and you check your phone every ten minutes until she calls back from the garden. Most "family safety" apps answer that with a live dot on a map. She feels watched, you feel like a warden, and after a month nobody opens it. Family Ping does one thing. She taps "I'm okay" when she likes. You see "Mum is at Home, updated 8 min ago". If she leaves or returns to her safe place, you get one alert. If she ever needs you, one red button reaches you, not an ambulance. Two things to know: - It takes two phones. She shows a code, you type it. Both of you see the link, and either can end it. - It never tracks continuously and keeps no history. The latest position is sent when she taps, on an SOS, or when you ask. Free, no ads, no data sold. Live today on the App Store and Google Play. The question I would love answered: who would you set it up with, and what would make them say yes?
