We ve spent the past weeks sharing pieces of what we ve been building: modular hardware, Chat Coding, Vibe Coding, multi-device interactions, and a growing software ecosystem.
We ve been playing with what happens when ESP-Mosaico stops being a single device. Put a few together, rearrange them, split them apart, and suddenly the physical layout itself starts becoming part of the interaction.
Multi-screen interfaces, distributed controls, games, shared visuals we re still figuring out where this can go.
I'm planning to extend my previous project using ESP-Mosaico. Let me know if you want me to test anything specifically. I explained my setup here: https://lnkd.in/p/dtKtn-Uc
I ve been thinking about this a lot while working on ESP-Mosaico. AI coding tools have made software incredibly fluid. You can change an idea, regenerate part of an application, test it, and try again in minutes.
Hardware still feels very different. Add a camera, sensor, button, display, or motor and you can quickly end up back in wiring, peripheral configuration, drivers, and rebuilding parts of the system.
We ve been working on ESP-Mosaico, a new modular development board built for Coding Agents, and we re ready to put a few early units into developers hands before the public launch.
We re looking for a small group of makers, developers, and technical creators who want to experiment with it, push it in unexpected directions, and tell us what works and what doesn t. Try Chat Coding, push the hardware, connect modules, build across multiple devices, or do something we haven t anticipated yet...
Built for Coding Agents, ESP-Mosaico is a modular development board powered by ESP32-S31. It takes AI agents beyond software and into the physical world, enabling them to create, deploy, test, and iterate on real hardware. Expandable modules and multi-unit tiling give AI agents more ways to create, while Chat Coding and Vibe Coding give you intuitive ways to turn ideas into working physical devices.
