Hey Product Hunt! š I'm Mehmet, founder of AuraLabs PC.
Managing multiple automation bots, client servers, and hardware integrations means juggling a ridiculous amount of API keys, database credentials, and tokens.
I was tired of scattering plain-text .env files across my system and worrying about accidentally pushing them to GitHub. Existing cloud secret managers felt like massive overkill for local development and I didn't want my keys sitting on someone else's server.
So, we built EnvCipher for our own internal use at AuraLabs, and today, I'm opening it up to everyone for completely free.
š Why use EnvCipher?
Local-First: No accounts, no cloud sync, zero internet connection required.
AES-256 Encryption: Your keys are encrypted locally. Without your Master Password, the SQLite DB is mathematically unreadable.
Workspaces: Isolate your "Amazon Scraper" keys from your "Client Database" keys.
Instant Copy & Export: 1-click copy as process.env.KEY or bulk export to a perfect .env file for your servers.
Currently available for Windows. Iād love to hear your feedback, feature requests, or any questions you have about the architecture. Let me know what you think! Cheers! š
