Has anyone else worried about an aging parent or grandparent living alone?
I'm the founder of EDNA, an AI companion app for seniors. I started building EDNA because of my grandmother. She lives many hours away, and although she always says she's fine, I still worry about her being lonely, forgetting medications, or becoming a target for scams.
That experience inspired me to build EDNA, an AI companion that offers companionship, wellness check-ins, medication reminders, and scam detection. There's also a family dashboard where you can see daily mood trends of your grandparent, whether medications were taken, and when they last talked with their AI companion.
I'd love to hear from the Product Hunt community:
Have you had similar concerns about a parent or grandparent?
Would you feel comfortable recommending an app like this to a loved one?
Would you be happy if your parent or grandparent used an app like EDNA?
What features would matter most to you?
Is there anything that would make you hesitant to use it?
