DoubtConnect is a full-stack tutoring platform that simplifies how students connect with educators. Students can discover educators, explore profiles, book available slots, send detailed session requests with image attachments, and manage sessions. Educators can manage availability, accept or reject requests, while the platform securely shares their payment details with students after a request is accepted and keeps both users informed through email notifications.

Hi everyone! 👋 I'm Saptarshi, a Computer Science student, and DoubtConnect is one of the biggest projects I've built so far. I wanted to create a platform that makes it easier for students and educators to connect, manage session requests, and schedule learning sessions in one place. While building it, I learned a lot about React, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JWT authentication, PostgreSQL, deployment, and designing a real-world application from scratch. honestly this looks solid for connecting students with tutors, one thing that would be super useful is letting students save favorite educators or leave ratings after sessions, basically so others can see who's actually good instead of just guessing from profiles

the booking flow feels really smooth, especially being able to attach screenshots to session requests so tutors actually know what you're stuck on before accepting.

The flow from request to payment handoff feels really well thought out, especially that automatic secure share of payment details once an educator accepts. Spent ages building similar handoffs and it never feels this clean.
