Don't Hunt Me displays a popup on your website to let Hunters know you are not ready!

It detects users coming from Product Hunt and redirects them back after a few seconds.

And hopefully, the Product Hunt Team will not feature your product 🤗

Hi PH 👋 This hunt is bit meta 👀 Makers build more and more theirs products in public, sharing progress on Twitter, on Maker Goals or Wip Chat. But they also increase the chances to be hunted prematurely! 😱 (and we know how important a PH launch is nowadays...) We discussed this problem on wip.chat yesterday after the product of a fellow maker was hunted too early😕 We thought of one potential solution : Display a message on your product to avoid being featured by PH team! So I built a small javascript that you can put in your landing page 🛠 It detects users coming from Product Hunt and let them know your product is not ready. And if everything goes well, the Product Team would remove the submission.🙏 I hope this will help other makers keep control of their launch! A big thank you to the wip.chat community that comes up with the idea and helped me build this in less than a day. In no particular order : Thank you !

Why it's not a paid product?

This is amazing tool for makers who want to test their idea a bit, and prepare it for a better launch. I was lucky enough to beta test this product and was really happy about it. Very nice nice

Nice implementation! Also a win-win since it lets everyone know that you intend to launch on PH anyway :) Maybe you could even add a field to be notified when the product is ready (link to PH Upcoming or other)

Thanks William! I thought about a subscription field but I think (hope) that not a lot of people will see the popup, since it would be quickly removed form the submission. But I could maybe make a small banner "Upcoming on PH" banner on the normal than would let people to subscribe to a newsletter or the PH upcoming page ?!
