One of the biggest problems I kept running into was how painful web crawling still is in practice. On paper, it sounds simple — visit a page, extract the data, move on. But in reality, it quickly becomes messy: dynamic pages, inconsistent structures, blocked requests, retries, session issues, and too much time spent fixing the pipeline instead of actually using the data.
