which AI coding agent do u actually use the most? (and do u hit the usage limit?)
hey, am saidev, built codemax solo. launching it on PH tomorrow.
quick backstory: i pay for claude code, codex and cursor. every time one of them hits its usage limit mid-task i'd have to open another terminal, re-explain the whole thing to the next agent and lose context. super annoying.
so i built codemax: one terminal that runs all your agents side by side (claude code, codex, opencode, grok, cursor) and when one hits the limit it hands the task + context off to the next one. no api keys, just the subscriptions u already pay for. free + open source (AGPL).
curious about a few things from u all:
- which agent is your daily driver rn?
- how often do u actually hit usage limits?
- what would make u switch between agents more? or do u just stick to one?
also would love to hear what agents i should add next (gemini cli + copilot are planned). any feedback welcome, brutal is fine :)
