We gave Codex its own cloud computer

I'm Vlad and I'm the founder of Cobalt. It's a platform that allows you to hand off a complete coding task without setting up another development environment or keeping your laptop running. I've had enough of juggling git worktrees on my local machine and thought - it should be trivial for the coding agent to set its own environment, all I need to do is give it the tools.

Connect a GitHub repository and describe what you want done and Cobalt creates an isolated cloud computer, clones the repository, installs dependencies, runs commands and tests, starts the application, and gives you a live preview while Codex works.

Since everything is running off your laptop you can close the tab and return later. The computer, conversation, running services, and repository state remain available. When the task is finished, you can ask the agent to create a pull request.

Every task gets a separate computer, so a feature, bug fix, prototype, and experiment can run in parallel without additional local checkouts or git worktrees.

We built Cobalt because handing work to a coding agent should feel like delegating a task and not preparing and supervising a temporary development environment.
