What do you miss most about the old Google Images?
by•
Google recently replaced its clean horizontal image rows with a masonry-style layout.
I found it harder to scan on a desktop screen, especially when portrait images took up most of the available space. A Reddit user had the same problem and asked for an extension that would restore the previous layout, so I built Classic View for Google Images.
The first version brings back justified horizontal rows, hover previews, direct image access and quick size filters.
Before the launch, I’m curious: what feature or behavior from the older Google Images experience do you miss most? I’m collecting ideas for the next update.
