I am a cyclist and second year engineering student. Like a lot of you I have spent too much time scrolling through dodgy listings, meeting strangers with cash in hand, and genuinely not knowing whether the bike I was looking at was stolen or not. So myself and my co-founder built CheekyCycle, a marketplace specifically for second-hand bikes. Every listing gets checked against a stolen bike registry, sellers are verified, and payments go through Stripe rather than cash in a car park.
