What makes a sports app worth opening during the game?

We’re launching Buzzr Sports to make live sports feel more interactive while the game is happening.

The idea is simple: fans should be able to react to live games, make picks, follow the buzz around matchups, and talk with other fans without jumping between a bunch of apps.

I’d love feedback from Product Hunt users:

  • What do you currently use while watching live sports?

  • Do you prefer real-time reactions, predictions, highlights, or group chat?

  • What would make you open a sports app during the game instead of after it?

We’re especially interested in what would make Buzzr feel useful on game day, not just another sports feed.

Just following up on this because I’d genuinely love to learn from people who watch games live.

Quick question: what is the one thing that would actually make you open a sports app during the game?

Is it:

  1. Live reactions from other fans

  2. Quick predictions and picks

  3. Highlights as they happen

  4. Group chat with friends

  5. Real-time stats and momentum shifts

  6. Something else completely

Even a one-line answer would help us shape Buzzr around real game-day behavior instead of guessing.
