Hey Product Hunt š Paul here, engineering at BotShield.
We built this because the internet lost the ability to answer one question: is there a real person here right now?
Bots aren't the only problem anymore. Software now acts on people's behalf, convincingly, at speed. CAPTCHAs are broken, and the "fix" most of the industry reaches for is collecting more of you: IDs, birthdays, face scans. We think that's backwards. Proving you're human should not cost you your identity.
So BotShield proves presence, never identity. A person taps once, Face ID confirms a live human, and the site or agent on the other side learns exactly one thing: a real human is here. No name, no email, no profile, nothing stored. We call the boundary the Personhood Firewall.
What's in the pre-launch today:
⢠BotShield Gate: a live-human check you can drop on any moment (checkout, signup, a refund) in one line.
⢠BotShield ID: the app that holds your proof, with your identity staying wherever it already lives.
⢠Agents Ask: your AI agent does the 58 clicks, you make the one tap that actually spends the money.
⢠Age assurance without a birthday, and a Salesforce Agentforce integration for the enterprise folks.
Where we are: the platform is live for developers, the iOS app is in TestFlight, and we're opening the waitlist here first. If you build agents, run a marketplace, or have ever been locked out by a CAPTCHA that couldn't tell you were human, we'd love your feedback and your hardest questions.
