It all started after we experienced the difficult process of sourcing legal services for real estate or wills and estate transactions. The process took days and involved asking friends and family about which law professionals they had worked with and were happy with, looking up contacts and contacting several law professionals for more information about services, fees, references, etc. - an of course, we could only contact a handful of legal service providers due to time constraints. This painful sourcing process got us thinking to create a one-stop online shop for legal services. Our vision was to create a platform that would enable users to instantly find legal services based on relevant search criteria, such as "area of practice", "location", "language", or "price" and directly and instantly communicate with law professionals regarding services or bookings. We also envisioned that the platform would enable law professionals to showcase a detailed professional profile, receive notifications, respond to customer inquiries promptly, and if desired, receive payments online for booked hours.
