We built Bien.uy because our team went through this; researching whether Uruguay was actually a place I could realistically move to, and getting stuck between glossy expat blogs on one side and scattered, hard-to-verify government pages on the other. Nobody had just... the numbers, sourced and current. So Bien.uy pulls together official data (DGI, BPS, BCU, gub.uy) into free calculators that answer the boring-but-critical questions: What will this actually cost me per month? What's left in my pocket after taxes? Which paperwork do I need to do first?
