BadgeIA - Detect AI chatbots & verify AI Act transparency on your site

by
BadgeIA scans any website for AI chatbots and AI-generated content, then checks whether the transparency disclosure required by Article 50 of the EU AI Act is actually present. Since August 2, 2026, every site must clearly tell visitors when they interact with an AI. Fines go up to €15M or 3% of turnover. Free scan · one-line disclosure widget (FR/EN, any CMS) · dated public AI registry · PDF compliance guide. €39 one-time kit, or €6/month with regulatory watch.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Franck, and I built BadgeIA to solve a problem that's about to hit a lot of small sites: the EU AI Act. Since August 2, 2026, if your site has a chatbot or AI-generated content, you're legally required to tell visitors — clearly, at the start of the interaction. Fines go up to €15M or 3% of turnover. But the big compliance tools only target enterprises, and most solopreneurs don't even know they're concerned. So I built the simplest possible version: - A free scanner — paste your URL, see what AI systems are detected and whether the disclosure is missing. - A one-line widget — the disclosure banner, FR/EN, works on any CMS. No plugin. - A dated public AI registry — your good-faith evidence if anyone ever asks. It's €39 one-time (or €6/mo with the regulatory watch). I built it with AI agents supervised by a human, in French first (the FR market is under-served), then English. I'd love your feedback on two things: 1. Is the "free scan → paid kit" flow clear enough? 2. Would you pay €39 to get this off your plate, or is the DIY route too easy? Happy to answer anything about the AI Act for small sites. Thanks for checking it out 🙏
