ATSAlign - Match your resume to every job before you apply

by
ATSAlign helps job seekers tailor their resume to every job they apply for. Instead of showing a single ATS score, it explains exactly why your resume doesn't match a role, highlights missing skills and keywords, and provides AI-powered recommendations to improve it. The Chrome extension lets you analyze supported job postings in one click, making it faster to optimize your resume before every application.

Hey Product Hunt! I'm Varun, the founder of ATSAlign. While applying for jobs, I noticed that many people including me used the same resume for dozens of applications. Every job asks for something slightly different, but it's hard to know whether your resume actually matches a specific role before you hit "Apply." That's why I built ATSAlign. Instead of giving you just a generic ATS score, ATSAlign compares your resume against a specific job description, highlights missing skills and keywords, explains where your resume falls short, and helps you optimize it with AI before you apply. I also built a Chrome extension that connects your job search with ATSAlign. When you find a supported job posting, you can analyze it and jump straight into optimizing your resume without copying and pasting everything manually. The workflow is simple: Find a job → Check your match → Optimize → Apply This is just the beginning, and that's exactly why I'm launching on Product Hunt. I'd love your honest feedback: Is the resume analysis actually useful? Does the optimization process save you time? What would make ATSAlign a tool you'd use for every application? I'll be here throughout the day answering questions, collecting feedback, and discussing ideas. Thanks so much for checking out ATSAlign I really appreciate your time!

The one-click analyze on supported job postings is a really smart UX choice, skipping the copy-paste dance saves so much friction. Love that it explains the why behind the match instead of just spitting out a number.

Thanks! That was exactly the goal. We wanted to remove as much friction as possible, and the Chrome extension made analyzing a job much faster. We also felt a score alone isn't very helpful unless users understand what's driving it. Really appreciate the feedback!

Love that it explains why you're missing matches instead of just spitting a score. One thing that would make it even more useful is letting users save a list of tailored versions per company so they can track which edits went into which application later.

Thanks! I really like that idea. We've been thinking about helping users manage multiple tailored resumes, and organizing versions by company or job application would make that much easier. It's definitely something I'll explore as ATSAlign evolves. Really appreciate the suggestion!
