Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Natnael, developer building from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia 🇪🇹 I built Anima because something about how we explore biology has always bothered me: we're trying to understand living, dynamic systems through static pictures. What if you could actually interact with the biology you're learning? That's Anima. It's an open-source Claude Code skill that transforms natural-language questions into beautiful, interactive, scientifically sourced biological models. 🧬 Ask: "Show me how cocaine and amphetamine affect dopamine transporters." Instead of a wall of text, you get a working visual model. Toggle between mechanisms, watch what changes, explore the underlying biology, and inspect the scientific citations. And that's just the beginning. My bigger vision is to make biological knowledge executable and explorable. Imagine scientists prototyping hypotheses, educators bringing complex mechanisms to life, and students experimenting with biological pathways instead of memorizing diagrams. We're not replacing laboratory experiments or validated scientific simulations. We're building a new interface for understanding and exploring the science behind them. Anima is completely free and open source. I'd love your feedback, especially from researchers, biologists
