AnchorPlanned - Turn GSC data into risk-scored SEO anchor plans in minutes

by
Anchor text planning is the spreadsheet ritual every link builder secretly hates. 3-5 hours per site, every month, guessing ratios and praying nothing breaks. AnchorPlanned kills that. Connect your GSC — in about 10 minutes you get a month-by-month anchor plan where every entry is risk-scored, and every page is classified by intent—all from your real search data, not third-party estimates. From $9/mo. Free trial — try it before you pay a cent.

Hey Product Hunt 👋

Founder here.

I've been doing SEO for 8+ years already, so link building has been a core part of my work for a really long time too. Planning anchor text across client sites eventually became second nature: which URLs get links, which anchors fit where, how to balance brand / exact / partial / generic against the profile you already have, and how to avoid over-optimization patterns.

After doing this at scale for enough sites, something became obvious: the decisions were systematizable. Experienced link builders aren't improvising — they're running a mental pipeline. Mine just happened to be running inside a spreadsheet.

So I rebuilt the pipeline in code.

AnchorPlanned is the result. What used to be 3–5 hours per site per month is now ~10 minutes.

What it does:

  • Connects to your Google Search Console — pulls real query data, no manual keyword input

  • Runs a 7-stage deterministic engine: maturity scoring → brand tokens → URL classification → placement allocation → anchor assignment → text generation → safety validation

  • Outputs a month-by-month plan with specific anchors, balanced across 6 anchor classes and 3 strategy modes (Safe / Moderate / Aggressive)

  • Exports to Google Sheets so your team can execute without touching the app

What it's not:

  • Not an "AI-powered anchor generator" that invents commercial terms. Engine is deterministic — same input → same output. 165 automated tests on the pipeline.

  • Not an all-in-one SEO suite. Single-purpose on purpose.

  • Not for beginners. It assumes you know what a partial commercial anchor is and why the ratio matters.

The build:

Vibe-coded with Claude + Cursor. ~40 hours over 3 weeks. Zero lines written by hand. Currently in use by link building agencies and multi-site SEO consultants in private beta.

If you plan anchors (or your agency does), I'd love for you to break it. I'm in the comments all day.

Especially curious about:

  • How you currently handle anchor planning

  • Edge cases you think would break the engine

  • What you'd want shipped next

Upvote if it resonates — and tear it apart in the comments. That's where the real feedback lives.
