Hi everyone! I built AI Painting because I was frustrated that most AI image tools force you to register, pay, or only support English. I wanted something truly free and accessible to everyone. Tech behind it: Next.js frontend, Runware/OpenRouter for AI models, PostgreSQL, 8-language i18n with AI-assisted translation. The entire thing was built solo over about 2 months. Would love your feedback — especially on which features to build next. Video generation? Mobile app? Let me know!

Finally tried it out and the photo restoration preset worked way better than I expected on an old family snapshot. Love that it didn't ask me to sign up.

love the multilingual angle and no signup friction, that alone sets it apart. one idea from someone who uses these a lot: add a simple history or favorites feature since images vanish after 10 minutes, being able to save the prompts and thumbnails locally would be a lifesaver for iterating on a concept.
