Does ChatGPT even know your brand exists? I tested a few — results were surprising

I'm launching AI Answer Visibility Snapshot here soon, and wanted to share it with this community first.

Everyone tracks their Google search rankings obsessively. Almost nobody checks whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or Copilot actually mention their brand when someone asks a relevant buyer question. That gap is only growing as more people search inside AI tools instead of Google.

What it does: give it your brand name, a couple of competitors, and a few buyer questions — it runs your brand through all 5 major AI engines and shows you the real generated text citing you (or not). Not just a score, the actual sentence.

I tested it on a well-known SaaS brand — scored 90/100, cited #1 across every engine tested. Then tested a newer, lesser-known tool — scored 48, ranked #2 behind competitors, with gaps flagged in freshness and authority.
