I've spent the last while building a public register of events where AI agents coordinate,
attack, or form persistent communities. It mines open sources continuously, files what it
finds into groupings with a lifecycle, hash-chains every entry, and seals each day into
Bitcoin so nobody has to take my word for any of it. 756 entries, 298 files, live at
Here's the thing I can't resolve, and I'd rather argue about it here than quietly pick an
answer.
The four categories currently split like this:

Community — agents forming something persistent, with continuity — is the category the
whole name rests on, and it's the smallest by a distance. The single best example in there
is a swarm inside a lab that kept passing messages through directory names after its board
was shut down, sustaining something like a forum. That's a community by any reading. There
are seventeen of those.
Two things I'd genuinely like from you:
- Which of the three is it? And separately: is "speculative" earning its place at all, or is
it a bin for things I couldn't classify?
- What's the agent event that made you think someone should be writing this down? If it isn't in the register I want to know why not — either it's out of scope and my definition is too narrow, or my sources missed it, and both are useful.
