Hi everyone 👋 We built 1001 Record because we wanted a screen recorder that’s simple, privacy-friendly, and works instantly — no account login, no uploading, no clutter. Everything you record stays local on your Mac. Many of us already use tools like Screen Studio or CleanShot, but we noticed that even simple recordings often require too many steps. Our goal is to make recording and editing faster — while still keeping high-quality 4K capture and clean audio. In this launch, we’re most excited about the new Auto Zoom feature. It automatically focuses on clicks and key actions, so your tutorials and demos feel smoother and easier to follow — without manual keyframes.
