Our ultra-fast Daily: Three takes on new products. Yesterday’s top ten launches. That’s it.

Coinbase launched 2 NEW products 🏦
Yesterday, crypto-unicorn Coinbase launched two big products to support the next generation of crypto hedge funds.

Cryptocurrency-focused hedge funds like Metastable Capital and Polychain manage hundreds of millions, every new fund is forced to build their own internal trading infrastructure.

Coinbase's new products both make launching your own cryptocurrency hedge fund easier:

🔒 Coinbase Custody lets funds and institutions store their tokens inside Coinbase's secure vault, responsible for protecting over $20 billion in customer deposits every day.

🏦 Coinbase Prime is a powerful cryptocurrency trading platform for institutions. It's drastically similar to GDAX, which Coinbase publicly spun off in 2016 for more experienced traders.

Details are sparse on Prime, but it's fair to assume that this will be primarily marketed towards crypto hedge funds.

If you're itching to invest in crypto, you can build your own index fund of tokens without paying Coinbase:

Baffled? Token Daily curates the most important crypto news, and here's a stunning visual explanation of the blockchain. ✨

Verizon quietly launched a startup 📱
Nobody loves their phone company. AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile - each have been the target of thousands of angry Twitter rants.

Everybody wishes there was a better option, but rolling out your own telecommunications network across the entire country is expensive.

Visible just launched this weekend, with a surprising owner: Verizon.

The new "startup" sells all-in-one phone, messaging, and data plans on Verizon's network for $40/mo flat, no extra fees. You can even pay directly inside their new, well-branded app.

Two caveats: the data is limited to
5Mbps, and it's invite-only. Lucky for  you, we have a special invite code just for the Product Hunt community.

This isn't the only product that saves you money on your phone bill:

🕵️‍♂️ Binge all the Netflix, YouTube, and internet #content you want: this app tracks every part of your monthly data usage.

🦈 Billshark fights with your mobile providers on your behalf. 2 minutes could save you 25% or more on your phone bill. Sorry, Geico.

📱 The Lightning Phone is designed to be used as little as possible, so you don't even have a phone bill to pay in the first place.

Or... if you're ready to cut the cord completely, here's an app that lets you stream Netflix, HBO, Hulu, and Amazon all in one place.
How to work from home in your undies 👨‍💻
San Francisco is in crisis: the sun is out. For more than two consecutive days, Karl the fog has disappeared and the sun emoji has appeared IRL. Some people were forced to wear shorts, buy a fan, and drink an ice-cold LaCroix. Others worked beyond SF’s sun rays.

“My jaw is on the floor.”
The Turing Test has long stood as a benchmark of the future. Coined by computer scientist Alan Turing in the 50s, it describes the point at wthich artificially-intelligent computers exhibit behavior that’s indistinguishable from a human's.

Yesterday’s Google I/O 2018 gave us a glimpse into that future.

Google Duplex is the future of AI. It can imitate a human to book restaurant reservations or schedule a haircut. The demo is insane.

"My jaw is on the floor." –
Parthi Loganathan

It merges deep-learning, speech-to-text, and natural language processing so you will never have to pick up the phone again.

Sundar and team didn't stop there. Google also officially announced a tool that can predict your
age, heart disease risk, BMI, and blood pressure... all from an eye scan. The tech will be deployed worldwide so patients can get the treatment they need, no doctor required.

Google also launched a new machine learning kit for developers, a suite of tools to kill your phone addiction, and best of all, autocorrect for complete sentences, built directly into Gmail.

This isn't the only tool that attempts to finish your sentences for you. EasyEmail (YC '18) just launched last month, and Front enables your entire team to collaborate on emails together.
Hackers are coming for your data 👀
Your super-secret password is (probably) owned by a hacker.

Last week, Twitter exposed over 330,000,000 passwords on an internal server. 150,000,000 MyFitnessPal accounts were hacked in March. MySpace leaked 360,000,000 emails last summer.

Hackers will never stop trying to get your data (or breakfast), so it's up to you to protect your data.

We've teamed up StackSocial to get you premium access to Dashlane, a password manager for all of your accounts:

🖥️ Compatible with every device: Mac, iOS, Windows, Android, & more
🏆 Apple and Google's App of the Year with 1,000+ upvotes on PH
🔒 Military-grade encryption for all of your accounts

From the Product Hunt comments: “Dashlane is one of my favorite and most recommended products, period.” – InVision CEO, Clark Valberg

Protect yourself from the hackers. Another leak is always coming. 👀
Atari’s new console revealed 🕹️
Last year, Atari released a teaser of their newest, secret console. The Product Hunt community was quick to speculate:

"
Atari Europe and I literally share the same floor in the same building! They're so secretive. My guess is retro console."Pierre-Marie Galite

Pierre-Marie was right. The AtariVCS was announced today, with pre-orders starting at the end of the month:

🕹️ 100+ classic games including Asteroids, Centipede, and Breakout
🖥️ Supports 4K monitors at 60 FPS, comparable to an Xbox One
💰 $200 for the basic model, with a Collector's Edition coming soon

Atari has seen better times: they've been acquired a number of times and only recently emerged from bankruptcy. It’s been over 25 years since Atari launched a new console.

Meanwhile, Nintendo has succeeded by leveraging nostalgia. Pokémon Go exploded two summers ago as fans swarmed parks worldwide to catch 'em all. They also released a mini replica of the beloved NES. Their stock price has tripled in less than 2 years.

We can only hope that Atari will follow in Nintendo's footsteps. Unlike like the Nintendo Switch or Xbox One, the AtariVCS will be crowdfunded on Indiegogo. Anyone can sign up to buy one here.

If you can’t wait for your AtariVCS, you can play Defender, Joust, Paperboy, and 9,000 other retro games in your browser for free, legally.
IMPORTANT: Change your Twitter password
Every Twitter password has been exposed. Yesterday, Jack Dorsey disclosed that more than 330,000,000 passwords had been left unencrypted on an internal Twitter server.

If you've ever tweeted, you should change your password. Even worse: if you've ever reused your Twitter account password on a different site, you should change that password too. 😳

Unfortunately, Twitter isn’t the only one to slip up: 150,000,000 MyFitnessPal accounts were hacked in March. Even MySpace has gotten burned, leaking ~360,000,000 account emails and passwords last summer.

We've collected the 35 Best Privacy Tools according to the PH community, so you can protect yourself:

😱 Have I Been Pwned? will inform you if one of your accounts was compromised. They've cataloged over 5,000,000,000 hacked accounts.

🔍 Marshal looks through your Dropbox, Google Drive, and other cloud storage services to identify and remove sensitive information like social security and credit card numbers.

🙅‍♂️ Facebook's Clear History tool will let you clear any data that Mark Zuckerberg has collected on your internet browsing. If you delete the data, then there's no data to steal. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

🛠️ Alphabet’s Outline is an open-sourced VPN builder for anybody. Instead of trusting some shady company with all of your traffic, you can build your own private network that protects all of your data.

What's missing? Share your favorites and explore 20+ other tools that might save your butt. 😅

Building machine learning models is difficult. You'll have to learn Python or R, then understand the various open-source platforms like Google's Tensorflow, format your data correctly, and hope your model works.

"A holy shit moment in tech from our company Lobe. Full AI capabilities that you can put in your app but without having to write any of your own AI code! Watch the demo. It's bananas." – Chris Sacca

Lobe just launched to make building machine learning models easy:
1. Label your training set with your desired results.
2. Watch as the algorithm builds itself.
3. Ship it. Export your model into Google's TensorFlow, Apple's CoreML, or directly into your app on iOS or Android.

Teams are already building incredible projects:
😳 A tool that distinguishes between skin cancer and moles
🌱 An app that identifies California plants by photo
🏘️ A model that identifies architecture types from 3D models

Lobe’s landing page might be the best product landing page we’ve seen since Muzzle.
