Our ultra-fast Daily: Three takes on new products. Yesterday’s top ten launches. That’s it.

“Weren’t chatbots so last year?”

Your inbox is out to get you. It's secretly conspiring to hide all of your most important emails in a pile of privacy policy updates and URGENT SALES! from that shoe store you visited a few years ago.

Time to fight back. Today, we're launching the Product Hunt Messenger Bot - the best way to keep up to date with all things PH.

It slowly learns exactly what kinds of products you love, so you don't have to spend your morning clicking through pages and pages of emails.

🚀 Personalized product launches based on your preferences
💌 Early access to our Daily Digest every morning
😻 Kitten and cat GIFs for every occasion

We spent months agonizing over every last cat GIF to make your experience purrrrrrfect. Say hello, we're waiting. 😽
Has your email been sold? 😳
Legitimate, engaged email audiences are like liquid gold. The Skimm raised $12M from Google Ventures for their uber-popular daily newsletter, and Inside.com writes dozens of industry-specific news roundups every morning. The AngelList Weekly goes out to 4.5M+ users. 🚀

When there is gold, there are robbers. Email lists are stolen and resold every day, with no way for you to know.

Until now! Bruno has spent years collecting email lists, so you can answer the question: Have I Been Sold? 👀

The project was inspired by a similar site that lets you check if your passwords have been leaked. Over 5 billion passwords catalogued.

If you're running a site or startup with users in the EU, check out the ultimate list of 12 GDPR Compliance Tools. Compliance is key, and protecting user data is the first step.
Build an app with a spreadsheet. No code required.
New technologies become easier to use over time as programs, platforms, and plug-ins are built.

Once upon a time, rooms of accountants would manually update spreadsheets, sketched on chalkboards. If one input changed, they would recalculate every other cell. Now, we get computers to do it for us and check Twitter all at the same time.

Spreadsheets are starting to eat the web development world. Sheetbase was #1 on Product Hunt yesterday, a tool that converts Google Sheets into programmable databases for your websites or apps.

It's pretty nifty: it combines Google's free spreadsheet software with JavaScript frameworks into a free database.

Sheetbase isn't the only spreadsheet-powered web development tool:
🛠️ Sheetsu turns Google Sheets into a programmable API
📊 Tabledo will update your website using data from your spreadsheets
💻 Sheet 2 Site lets you generate an entire website from one Sheet
📦 Airtable Blocks let you run entire programs inside spreadsheet cells

If spreadsheets aren't your forté, Mailando will update your website copy with just one email, and Ship will get your startup's landing page ready before you run to your Memorial Day party. 🇺🇸🎉
Airbnb, Netflix both launched a custom font 📝
Little known fact: your favorite fonts aren't free.

The owners of your favorite fonts – Garamond, Times New Roman, Georgia – charge businesses who use their font on their website, app, and advertisements.

Instead of paying millions of dollars for licenses, tech companies are starting to design their own fonts.

Airbnb launched their own font earlier this week: Airbnb Cereal, in homage of the Obama and McCain themed cereal boxes that co-founders Brian Chesky and Joe Gebbia sold in order to bootstrap Airbnb.

It's free for anyone to download: try it out now. 😋

Airbnb isn't alone: Netflix launched Netflix Sans earlier this year, and both Apple and Samsung use custom default fonts.

You can now design your own font too:

📝 Fontself lets you design custom fonts in Photoshop.
✍️ Calligraphr converts your handwriting into a font.
🖋️ FontJoy generates smart font pairings in one click.

And of another font catches your fancy, use WhatTheFont to snap a pic and it’ll find the closest match. It’s like Shazam for typography nerds. 🤓
5 BIG launches from Tinder, Airbnb, Coinbase, and more 🚀
Boy meets girl. Girl meets boy. A magical first date turns into a lifetime of dinners, inside jokes, and shared cat pictures.

Tinder just launched a new feature to help you meet your neighbor, the barista down the street, and other lovely people nearby.

Tinder Places matches you with people who hang out at the same spots that you do. Instead of starting every single Tinder conversation with Aziz Ansari's line from Master of None, you'll have a unique ice breaker and your first-date spot already lined up.

Tinder Places is powered by Foursquare’s API, live in Australia and Chile, worldwide soon. Check it out. 😘

That wasn't the only big launch of the day:

📈 Coinbase just launched another trading platform, Coinbase Pro, as a formal rebrand of GDAX. They also acquired year-old exchange Paradex.

🏘️ Airbnb quietly launched Airbnb Stories, which is exactly what it sounds like. See if it lives up to Snapchat's legacy.

🔍 Google completely revamped Google Trends, which graphs the popularity of every topic, story, and meme.

📝 InVision launched a sneek peak of their new InVision Studio Platform, which is like an App Store for designers.
#1 in the App Store right now 👀
The App Store has a new world champion: Tik Tok.

The karaoke-esque, music-sharing app has been downloaded over 45,000,000 times in the first three months of 2018. That's more downloads than Snapchat, Spotify, and Gmail... combined. 😮

Tik Tok originally launched in China as a lip-syncing app named Douyin with built-in video effects and poweful social network.

It reminds us of when we spent all weekend playing with Mac Photo Booth effects.

Tik Tok was developed by Bytedance, which coincidentally acquired Musical.ly for $1B last year. The apps are basically identical. Musical.ly, Douyin, and Tik Tok now have a combined 100,000,000 monthly active users around the world.

Social is hard. Today many scaredy-cat investors are too afraid to invest in anything competing head-on with Facebook. Rock on, Tik Tok. 👏

P.S. Musical.ly cofounder and co-CEO Alex Zhu may have the best Product Hunt username there is. 😬
Win $100,000,000 playing video games 🎮
"Did Epic accidentally add an extra zero?" – All of Twitter

Nope. Epic Games announced a $100,000,000 prize pool for their Hunger Games-esque video game Fortnite yesterday.

The $100M prize pool dwarfs all other esports prizes - in 2017, the top 10 esports games gave out $91M combined.

Fortnite is going #viral. 680,000 concurrent viewers tuned in to watch an open competition hosted by beloved-streamer Ninja last month, beating his own record of 660k from March where he played with Drake. Some context: The Super Bowl maxed out at 1.1M concurrent viewers.

You don't need a powerful gaming PC: Fortnite for iOS launched earlier this year and is live worldwide.
This tweet drove 100,000 downloads 😮
This single tweet drove 100,000 app downloads in one weekend. 😳

Be My Eyes is pretty nifty - it connects blind and visually-impaired users around the world who are having trouble with a specific task - like reading the expiration date on a carton of milk – with a community of over 1M+ volunteers around the world.

You'll get push notifications every time somebody needs help. Download today for iOS and Android and start helping. 🤗

Technology should make the world more empathetic, and Be My Eyes isn't the only one:

🙋 Give out HandUp Gift Cards to homeless in your neighborhood, redeemable for essentials like toiletries, clothes, and housing.

👂 Ava makes any conversation accessible for deaf. The demo video is crazy impressive (and got 2k+ upvotes!).

🤖 Microsoft's Seeing AI is a talking camera for the blind.

🎮 The Xbox Adaptive Controller was designed specifically so gamers with limited mobility can experience all of your favorites.
File your taxes automatically 😮
Evvvverrryyybody is trading crypto. Coinbase officially has more accounts than Charles Schwab, one of the largest brokers in the US.

Actually managing your crypto is much harder than it looks. Between different exchanges, dozens of different currencies and wallets, and complicated tax requirements, it's impossibly difficult to do perfectly.

Every single cryptocurrency trade, even between different tokens, is seen as a taxable event, which means even one hour of day-trading can turn into an accounting nightmare.

A new wave of portfolio trackers is here to help:

Cointracker (YC '18) syncs with Coinbase, Binance, GDAX, Bittrex, and 10+ exchanges to track every one of your trades. It even does your taxes for you at the end of the year. Try it now.

Delta (available for desktop, iOS, and Android) tracks all of your exchange trades beautifully across every platform.

TokenTax (winner of the Product Hunt hackathon) does your crypto taxes for you in minutes. It even minimizes your tax burden by recommending trades and sales.

Track all of the tokens with the 16 Best Crypto Portfolio Trackers. 📊
Google’s new AI-powered news app 📰
The new Google News is here for iOS and Android, announced last week at Google's annual developer conference.

Powered by AI, the app delivers the most important stories of the day using a now familiar story-like format.

This isn't the only app trying to reinvent the way we consume #content:

Swiipe News was built by a 14-year-old developer, with a Tinder-esque interface to discover stories from 50+ favorite news sources.

Ground finds the best local news, built by a NASA engineer.

Citizen is replacing the local news, delivering notifications of nearby robberies, murders, and naked thieves (no joke).

Unfiltered News organizes stories on a map based on what each country is talking about to break outside your filter bubble.

Sip delivers the most important tech news at 5pm each day. It’s probably the great app of all time.

If you can't get enough content, we have just the link for you. ✨
