Time to git good
GitQuest: A gamified leaderboard for GitHub commits.
I love games - I like even more when they make me productive. GitQuest is a great way to gamify building while encouraging your friends to do the same. It's super simple too, a leaderboard based on your GitHub activity and nothing needed from your end. Honestly, using a GitHub repo for the foundation of a productivity tool makes a lot of sense. Curious who will be number one now hehe.
AI nostalgia
Scena - A platform to create, share & meet AI personas
I like this because it takes AI out of the standard interface (chat) and allows it to explore a proven medium from decades ago. Iâm not sure if this specific company will become the dominant player, but seeing this makes me think about what an AI-driven Sims, Roller Coaster Tycoon, orâdare I sayâa personal childhood favorite, Runescape, might look like. Scena is exploring this concept on the fringes, and I applaud the team for stepping forward as one of the leaders boldly declaring, âWe donât want another AI chat interface.â
Less is more
Project Ambience: Get deep work done with AI-tailored ambience mixes.
If youâve ever wasted time scrolling for the perfect background noise only to get sucked into a YouTube vortex (been there), Project Ambience makes a strong case for simplicity. It tailors ambience mixes to your taskâworking, studying, whateverâand even adds a Pomodoro timer to keep you focused. Itâs clever, but I wonder if adding more features, like task lists or user-generated mixes, might overcomplicate something that works because itâs so straightforward. Sometimes, less really is more.
We asked 34 customers what Viktor does for them. Not one said chatbot.

They kept using words like colleague, coworker, team member. One CEO called it the glue holding their e-commerce business together, which is a lot, but also⌠you see why. It lives in Slack and plugs into 3,000+ tools, so instead of jumping between tabs, you just ask for the thing. Pull Stripe against HubSpot, check Sentry alerts, spin up a campaign brief, build a landing page, send a report upstairs. It all happens there.
It has already hit top 5 on Product Hunt with 130 comments, is SOC 2 certified, and your data does not train models. One user said it was the first time AI felt like a real coworker, which is either exciting or slightly concerning depending on your week.
