Midjourney just dropped a big update

Christmas came early for AI enthusiastsāthe latest update to Midjourney, version 6, dropped yesterday. Built by the research team with the same name, v6 dropped as an alpha release with many improvements.
To start with, the way you prompt has changed according to the developers. Version 6 is much better at understanding you, so itās important to be more explicit with your prompts. āV6 is MUCH more sensitive to your prompt. Avoid ājunkā like āaward-winning, photorealistic, 4k, 8kā says Midjourney founder David Holz.
One of the biggest updates is how Midjourney handles text. Youāve probably seen it before; zoom in on an AI-generated image, and youāll notice scrambled text. The team is tackling this head-on with what they call a āDescribeā model, which helps the AI process text far better than previous iterations.Ā
The team also updated how Midjourney processes things like lighting, shadows, and reflections. All of which are geared towards making images extremely photorealistic like the one above. Devs have had to up moderation systems and ask users not to ācreate images to cause drama.āĀ
If you want to generate photorealistic images, just type "āstyle raw" at the end of your prompt.Ā
Midjourney v6 is available for a short time. If you want to see what the hype is about, log in to Discord and enable it via the settings panel.Ā
So weāre just⦠talking to software now?

ElevenLabs has been the go-to for voice for a while. Now they've turned that expertise into agents that actually get things done. You set one up, it talks like a real person, listens, responds, and helps handle the task ā support calls, bookings, whatever the job is. Not a demo, not a "press 1 for sales" situation. It's ready to deploy. Feels like one of those shifts where the interface quietly changes. Less typing, less clicking, more just saying what needs to happen and letting it play out.
