WOULD YOU PAY FOR X?

We aren’t talking about X Premium or Twitter Blue as it used to be known. Speaking in a meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister, Elon Musk suggested that X might soon charge its user base, saying, “we’re moving to having a small monthly payment for use of the system.”

Would you pay?

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHT
Time to update

It’s that time of the year again when you hit that big update button and unlock a slew of new features that should hopefully make your iPhone experience even better.

Announced way back in June at Apple’s developer conference, iOS 17 has been billed as the company’s most personalized update yet, with features like Live Voicemail, Facetime Messages, Contact Posters, StandBy Mode, and more.

While iOS 17 brings a lot to the table when it comes to personalizing your phone, there are always going to be gaps to fill, and makers are more than happy to build solutions to those gaps.

Here are a handful of iOS widgets built by makers designed to upgrade your experience from keeping time to controlling your music.

Built by UI and UX Designer Fei Ye, CountDuck ensures you never miss an important event again. It offers countdowns for birthdays, anniversaries, progress tracking, and more. It also integrates directly with StandBy Mode.

MusicView Pro was built by Taher, and it gives you new ways to control your music from your home screen. Connect with Spotify or Apple Music and control playback, volume, and even like or unlike songs.

Hands Time was built by Yuhang Lu with the goal of putting the time into your hands. It’s designed for minimalists to find peace by being able to hide the date and second hand. It can be customized with seven different themes and ten styles overall.

So if you’ve updated to iOS17 and you’re looking for new ways to customize your experience
