Hello everyone, I would like to share another project I've working on as part of the Solid Apps bundle. This is Formed, a habit builder for iOS and macOS with several interesting mechanics. First of all, you can set a target by which you think your habits will become second nature, so that there's a light at the end of the tunnel - something to work towards. There's also a feature where your friends get notified if you fail, a minimalist design, tips from the community and more.

With this program, my life routine has changed in the best possible way, and I am very grateful to the team that created this program :)

I’ve already started using it on my Mac, but I can’t find it on the mobile App Store using the search term ‘formend’.
The design is beautiful and meets my needs. I recommend everyone give it a try.
However, there are areas that could be improved:
1. The analytics section could be enhanced to be even better. For instance, adding ‘streak walls’, similar to what GitHub has.
2. After marking a habit as completed for the day, it should automatically hide to avoid distractions, since I no longer need to focus on it.
I’m currently trying it out, and today is day two.
@bonvisions thank you for trying it out. If you try this link on the app store does it not work? Another way to find it would be in your purchases tab on the app store.
In regards to your suggestions, I think these are good ideas. I will add an option in Settings to hide or fade completed habits.
I think streak walls are a great idea, and I will consider it.

Solid product! Could you elaborate on your strategy with the product bundle? Seems like a smart way to cross-sell products since they all seem to be relevant for the same type of audience. Also, by having different products there are more value propositions - and if you pull someone in on one, that person may find other apps relevant too.
I've been thinking about a similar approach myself, but in a different genre of apps. Hence I would love to hear more about your experience.
@stpe sure, you got that right. People will usually find several of the apps appealing, because someone who wants a diary app may also be interested in a habits app, and find the lower price a better deal. I also tried a subscription model earlier where users could subscribe to one app for $3.99/yr, all apps for $9.99/yr or all apps lifetime for $29.99, but that didn’t seem to do very well. There was interest and feedback was positive but I think it’s harder to justify a new subscription nowadays and I figured out I could operate with a lower upfront cost. We’ll see how it goes. What segment are your apps in?
@cristianmoisei Yes, I agree. I wanted to have a way to avoid ”subscription fatigue” but still have the opportunity to upsell. Hence an approach with a set of smaller apps to cross-sell (and an bundle pricing) could be the best of both worlds.
The segment I had in mind was games, but it is just a thought at this stage (currently finishing up a very niche project for smart homes/lightning).

@nathan6300 Hey Nathan, I'm afraid I don't have any plans for an Android version anytime soon. I'm just one person and this is a side project for me, so I'm limited to the things I can do myself. But I'm glad to hear you enjoy the design.

This is a solid product. This could be one of the best tools that would frame and create the needed discipline strategies for anyone who wants to achieve constant improvement professionally or personally. Would definitely recommend cross-selling with fitness and lifestyle apps that are built to drive the desired change in people.
