Zoom or Meets for company needs?

I would like to hear from folks, that have actually used both for business purposes. Which has more consistent video and audio quality for worldwide use, or are they the same? What about features and pricing? It feels like Zoom may be a bit complicated for small teams. And more expensive per user.

We're just using Meets now, the 45-minute cap on Zoom's free plan is the biggest dealbreaker for us.

@nicolaas_spijker agreed! Sometimes we forget about it and someone host with free account and reconnecting is pain.

Google Meets any day

@aditya_chavan3 do you experience overheat while screensharing via browser?

Zoom is cool, when Corp where are you working paying for it :) For the startup my personal choice is Meets, it was back in 2018 at my previous startup, and it's now in 2023 Meets again.

@rimash we even tried Discord for this, but Zoom still takes a lead when 100% conv time is screensharing, which Meets barely handle even at M1 Max 32 gb ram. Laptop become hot as hell.

@ffffilipp Yeah, so true about perfomance during screensharing. Discord is pretty nice, but from time to time picture splits in a pixels and all team need to wait few secs while it'll become normal again

Google Meet but in between these two: Zoom.

I prefer Zoom.
If meeting is inevitable, I prefer Google Meet, but lots of the meetings are waste of time, with a lot of people who manipulates the meet, and some silent people who have the real solutions but can not talk because of these people. Lots of status update stuff can be done in asyncroneous way, thus time schedule problem can be solved too.
