Hi, I want to share an experience that I'm living while I try to make https://cassandra.app/ grow. My software helps companies by optimizing advertising budget allocation using AI. It sells at a 5.000$/month You can imagine it's not super easy to acquire leads and convert them. I tested: Facebook ads Google ads Linkedin prospecting cold email outreach blog articles youtube videos LinkedIn posting But nothing worked, or at least, there hasn't been a singular activity that brought me leads, but it was a mix. The thing that is working pretty well so far is this strategy: I create some tutorials about marketing science Share it on youtube Create a LinkedIn post promoting the tutorial I repeat this framework every day. What happens is this: People start watching some tutorials but don't become leads from youtube videos. Posting every day I reach 3k people daily that have an interest in my content. Then I text some key people and I send them a small video using a loom in which I explain to them how they can increase performance on their marketing mix. Before the youtube videos, people wouldn't respond to that message, but now, most of my target has already seen one or two of my videos, so they understand that what I'm proposing it's not a scam. They book a call with me, I ask some questions to understand their problem and I sell the solution leveraging my software as a perfect solution to their problems. The people hearing me during the sales call have complete respect for what I'm saying because they have seen that I've thought a lot of people about Marketing science. My conversion rate from cold outreach to lead went from 5% to 40% My conversion rate during a sales call went from 25% to 70%
