I myself am a self thought designer, if you'll ask me about one advice only then it would be: Be Consistent. Now consistent doesn't mean you have to design epic solutions every day. It simply means you just try everyday, even if it is 5 minutes. That's OK.

Even though you introduce yourself as a solopreneur, you are not alone! We have multiple mentors and friends who are willing to help you achieve your goal. However, if you are a solopreneur, you should have the following traits: You should be self-motivated, passionate about what you do, work hard, and persevere with the attitude of a winner. Success requires a single-minded devotion to a technique that works, whether it's for trading, sales, marketing, and so on.  If you want to be successful, you need to invest in yourself, read a lot about what others have done, and learn from their mistakes, so you can avoid them yourself.

@triss_mary Thank you for sharing your advice with me. I know I have a long way to go and I'm really excited. Self-study, self-motivated, passionate and the helping from the surrounding community are indispensable. 👏

First, being a solopreneur is a wonderful thing. Being the master of your time, the captain of your ship, and the writer of your own paycheck is a great feeling. Before you get started, however, you'll need to choose a business model. If you're looking to become rich, think real estate. It's possible to start off with little money and create a very lucrative business model. However, there are plenty of other models, including writing ebooks, affiliate marketing, and so on. Just find something that matches your interests and you'll do great.

Rising above the competition requires determination and hard work. It is not impossible, but it will be difficult. All you need to do is first find your customer persona and the product. Then, create a beautiful landing page and start a social media marketing campaign to get your name out there. If you are not sure about how to get started, check out my previous post, here .

It's okay to hear "no". Do not let a potential client's rejection or a "no" demotivate you. That's how you win every time. This is all a part of learning to be a solopreneur.

Good luck in your endeavor! I had experience in starting offline business solo (SUP board rental station) and it was relatively successful. My advice would be to follow your passion, otherwise you won't enjoy the journey. And even if it's not successful financially but still and interesting path to you, don't forget to appreciate the experience and connection that you make while working on it. My business experience didn't get me much money (I was lucky to return my initial investments), but it helped me land a great job and start my career in Sales/Marketing which was really fruitful. You never know how things will play out, but if you're curious and do what you love, you'll alright :)
