It would really depend on the technology used and its success rate on correct diagnosis.

@joanne_hurleyv1 Firstly, I really appreciate you sharing your time to provide some feedback :). I totally agree, as of now the pet telemedicine is still learning all together.
Let's say, how would you answer if the assessment gave you a triage reading that told you what deemed a definite visit or licensed vets advising easy at-home precautions you can execute. Could you see yourself using a free tool like that?
@moonfrombuddy Yes I would. In general before using / purchasing in app like this I would look at how they explain the technology (algorithms?) generate their recommendations, then who is on the team / board as oversight that has checked the outputs and are happy to put their name by the app.

Yes, it could be great for early diagnosis.. but would depend on the success rate of the past.
@anil_meena21 Thank you for the feedback Anil! And absolutely agree, trust would have to depend on the empirical data. That is precisely what I am looking to gain insight on the market for a free service to provide early diagnosis to concerned pet parents.

@qudsia_ali Yes! that is in our scope to provide tablets to vet hospitals so that patients can assess symptoms as they are either waiting or can simply assess at home. Our users can then contact a vet directly or simply set an appointment through the app and all of the records and symptom check result would be shared with the user's choice of hospital/vet. Not for accuracy but would be good to know ft's something critical or not.
Don't people do this with google anyways? Seam's like everyone self diagnosing themselves or someone with a google search.🤣😂
@richw That is the worry we fear people may naturally assume but from pet parent to pet parent, it gets overwhelming and the credibility of the information can be diluted. We hope to provide a reliable and straightforward triage with opinions from a dozen or so veterinarians.
