The Head of Marketing (or equivalent position) of a firm is generally responsible for increasing the company's brand identity among the TG and helping the sales team acquire clients. However, marketing now has a set of rules that you can follow in order to reach your target audience and generate leads. Companies must think outside the box and have a strong GTM to achieve the 50x growth multiple. This job is now held by a Growth Hacker 🚀. A growth hacker is a multi-skilled person who can plan the product's prospective growth, including user acquisition, onboarding, monetization, retention, and virality. #growth #marketing

For me, it is only a difference in the job title. For some clients, I'm a growth hacker, and for some clients, I'm a fractional CMO. The goal of the job is the same: help the business growth in a cost-effective manner. The scope might be a bit different: as CMO I will be responsible for budget and team, which isn't always the case when I act as a growth hacker.
