Here's the research I liked some time ago: https://pixelplex.io/blog/overvi.... It's about mobile gaming, though I think most of the info is of use for any other app as well: insights on geo, android/ios, trending features and common monetization techniques. Also, have a look at Deloitte’s 2022 Connectivity & Mobile Trends Survey (https://venturebeat.com/mobile/d...). When I look for any research I usually start with checking if such companies as EY, Deloitte, BCG, McKinsey have a paper about the subject. And they usually do :) Hope this helps.
