I've never heard anyone say that SAP was good for a small or large business 🤣 ... I think SAP would be overwhelming for your small business. Think of SAP like Salesforce - its the tool you will use when you get to the right size, but you want to start somewhere else (HubSpot, as a CRM example) and might need to migrate in the future.
