I'm thinking of collecting a bunch of cool stuff here. And then contact PH support referring to this discussion. Maybe together we can make this platform better

I think some type of metric around contribution/request would rock. I see a lot more people asking for things that giving things. (Like 99% asking for launch assist, etc and 10% just contributing haha.)

A community engagement tool that allows Makers to interact with their potential customers and fans on Product Hunt. Makers could use this tool to answer questions, solicit feedback, run polls, host AMA sessions, etc. This would help Makers build trust and loyalty, and also learn from users.

@dsarkar This can greatly increase the efficiency of interaction between Creators and Fans. I like this idea 👍

A better way to discover new products. Product Hunt's current algorithm for recommending products is based on upvotes and comments. It would be helpful to have a more sophisticated algorithm that takes into account other factors, such as user interests, past behavior, and social connections. This would help users discover new products that they are likely to be interested in.

@darcy_andrews Interesting and even the most global change that was proposed. After all, changing the algorithm costs a lot of effort. But this will lead to a better result

It’s very inconvenient to work with a list of followers. If it were possible to sort them according to some criteria, that would be cool.
