If you could disrupt your own industry to help millions, but it could put thousands out of a job, would you do it?

I, personally, am a strong advocate for automation. What would it tell us about humanity if we did not fix problems just because the people who worked on them earlier would have to find something else to do? And it's not like there is not enough to do in the world. In some countries, like Germany, we don't have enough workforce for all the tasks that need to be done. Let's not halt progress because we are afraid of change. But of course there are situations where that does not apply. We always have to take a look at the bigger picture.
