What was the biggest learning lesson from your unsuccessful launch?

Last month, I posted about CommonPlace, a new reading app that allows users to store and organize their reading notes while also connecting with other readers. Unfortunately, our post underperformed, and we didn't get as much traction as we had hoped. After some reflection, I realized that one of the main reasons for our lack of success was our lack of focus on community outreach ahead of our launch. Interestingly enough, I learned this mostly through random people DMing me on LinkedIn in the week after our post to support their upcoming launch. This made me realize how important it is to build a community of engaged PH users before launching a new product. What is the biggest lesson people have learned from their launches?

I will have my first experience this week and will report back🧐 I think your launch was already successful by reflecting on what didn’t go so well and what your will do better in future. Therefore, what does not kill you only makes you stronger 💪 I wish you continued success with your product!

It's not the same product that people are interested in and want to use at a cost. It's not enough for fun and convenient products, and we need something better than that.(But I haven't found it yet)

I think that the main point is not to blame yourself. Maybe you didn't choose the perfect product, or you didn't do your research well, so you didn't understand your buyer's needs. But you still need to keep going! And you will find your way :)
