We are excited about AR glasses and how that will change the way we interact with everything and especially with groups of people! Looking forward to the day when we can all experience the same content together. And the best part .... NO MORE looking down at my phone and being anti-social!
Brianna Swartz
@heathersmith I'm hopeful that the tech is farther along now and consumer are more ready for AR glasses. I love my bluetooth sunglasses, and now ready for the AR version!
Stephen
@heathersmith Yes! This tech has exciting implications for both personal and professional settings, from immersive education and training to collaborative design and innovation. And as you mentioned, one of the biggest advantages of AR glasses is that they allow us to stay connected and engaged with others without the distraction of constantly looking down at our phones.
Stephen
@heathersmith @brianna_swartz Definitely! AR glasses have come a long way and I totally agree that consumers are more ready for them now. I mean, if we can rock Bluetooth sunglasses, why not go for the AR version, right? The possibilities for hands-free navigation, gaming, education, and training are just some of the ways that AR glasses could really change the game.

@heathersmith I am looking forward to the day where my AI glasses will help me remember people's names with auto face recognition. I am ok with navigation but faces are my Achilles heel.

@heathersmith I am curious if you would ever consider wearing AR contact lenses? I saw an early demo of the technology 3 years ago and would not be surprised to see it come out in the next 10 years.

In the workplace I think there will be a lot more automation and increased efficiency of current processes which will allow people more time for strategic work.
Stephen
@natalia_smith Agreed! As automation technology continues to advance, we can expect to see increasing levels of efficiency and productivity in the workplace. By automating routine tasks and processes, employees will be able to focus on higher-level strategic work, driving innovation and growth within their organizations. This shift towards more strategic work will require a different set of skills and competencies from employees, with an increased emphasis on critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. It will also require companies to invest in training and development programs to ensure that their employees have the necessary skills to succeed in this new environment.

Metaverse dimensions where we are no longer restricted by places, time, or physical reality
Stephen
@andreaace the potential for the metaverse to reshape our understanding of human experience and interaction is truly immense, and I believe it represents an exciting and promising direction for the future of digital tech.

I'm personally very excited about the possibilities that emerging technologies like AI, VR, and the IoT will bring in the next five years. From what I've seen, AI is already revolutionizing industries like healthcare, finance, and transportation, and I believe we'll see even more applications in areas like education and entertainment. Additionally, the continued development of VR and AR is poised to transform the way we interact with digital content and the world around us. And with more and more devices being connected to the IoT, the potential for smart homes, cities, and infrastructure is enormous. Of course, there are also challenges to be addressed, such as data privacy and security, but overall I'm optimistic about the future of the tech industry.
Stephen
@eylulsavas couldn't agree more! The rapid pace of innovation and development in the tech industry is truly remarkable, and it's exciting to imagine the possibilities that emerging technologies could bring in the next few years. It's clear that these technologies are already having a significant impact on various industries, and the potential for further growth and innovation is immense. Of course, as you mention, there are also important challenges to be addressed, but I'm confident that with continued investment in research and development, we can address these issues and fully realize the potential of these emerging technologies.

An industry based on a technology won`t depend on predictions based on fallacies. A product designer will design the product. A product manager will verify whether the product is valid, or not. And on, and on.
Stephen
@piotr_sienkiewicz1 It's important to base any industry on solid technology and avoid making predictions based on fallacies. In order to create a successful product, a product designer will take the lead in designing it, and a product manager will then evaluate its validity. It's a collaborative effort to ensure that a product meets the needs of the market and delivers value to its users. And of course, the process continues as the product evolves and improves over time.
Piotr Sienkiewicz
@stephen_smith67 Based on a market a product has to meet a demand of consumers. A word "needs" doesn`t exist among sales people because if a consumer does want to buy the product, does buy the product. If the consumer doesn`t want to buy says, I don`t need it.
Piotr Sienkiewicz
@stephen_smith67 In terms of a value, whether a product is expensive, or not, depends on a product designer because the product has to be designed for somebody. If the product was designed for a rich consumer, the consumer will buy it. Poor consumers don`t buy. They steal. A target group during a marketing campaign has to reach the group of people with an amount of monies from a salary among employees.

1) I am looking forward to productivity enhancement where AI will help me glue different ideas together and rapidly test them out. 2) I am looking forward to improved communication and presence allowing us to build social and working connections remotely. 3) tech needs to help us learn and continue to grow as individuals all life long. 4) we need to use tech to help our environment and planet. We need to be better stewards before it is too late.
Stephen
@val_jones those are some great points Val! AI definitely has the ability to boost productivity by enabling us to test out fresh concepts and connect seemingly unrelated ideas swiftly. Additionally, improved communication tools can facilitate social and working connections even when we are working remotely. It's also crucial that we use technology to aid us in learning and self-improvement, as well as preserving our planet and environment. It's our duty to ensure that technology benefits our world and helps us become better stewards of our resources.
