What tool would you recommend to someone who is looking for the free Slack alternative, and why?

Discord - same kind of channel/server setup, DM's etc. Lots of Bots available and some integration via no-code tools. Only downside is that notifications and threads aren't quite as "worky"

@maxwellcdavis yep, I heard also that issue with notifications but overall sounds that Discord is great tool to switch from Slack ....Thank you for participating!
