Hi! Just saw the news about Ankr defi project exploited for $5+ million (here we go again). Here is my list πŸ“ of basic actions that I usually stick to: - Notepad for seed phrases and keeping track of assets (Am I the only one who keeps forgetting what I have?πŸ˜…) Buy ONLY from official exchanges/marketplaces - Always DYOR (not Christian): check all info about project, authors, read whitepaper (I know many people are lazy, but it's really important) - Check transactions for phishing (I'm currently using Web3 Antivirus, cause it's quite simple and easy to use, it's a scoop to try). - Cold storage. Feel free to share your tips, let's make a useful to-do list to stay safe&sound!

I agree with you, Xenia. Being around web 3 space you need to have some precautions. For me is cold storage and always double-checking. Lastly, don't make decisions in a hurry when you are using your wallet.

Valueable tips ! I had a hot wallet, got hacked even with activated 2FA, lost 8k ! "not your keys, not you wallet" right? ^^ I will definitely use multiple cold (paper) wallets in the future and making transactions from a dedicated clean device that I will only use for trading.

@hayerhans omg, sorry for your loss, hope that someday you'll take your assets back! I was also thinking about buying metallic tool for seed phrases, but can't find a good option for now..
